# How to update your license

In order to have a fully functional solution, you need a valid license.

When the product is installed without a proper license, a warning is shown to all users in the GUI, and the Report functionality is disabled:

These are the steps to reset your license in case it has expired:\
\
1\. Navigate to the **Administration** > **Settings** menu.

2\. Select the License tab and paste the new license serial key under the *New license* box.

3\. Click the **Update** button. Afterwards, you should see the *Valid* status along with the expiry date.
