Home directory

During the execution of a Transcript task, or during the generation of a report, a number of files are accessed, both for reading and writing. The user Home Working Directory (referred to throughout this documentation as home_dir or base_dir) is the directory relative to which these files are located.

The home directory should preferably be located on a dedicated volume i.e. D:\exivity\home and it is recommended that it be located on an SSD drive.
